Tolerance in Islam :
what an amazing experience i had today :)))))))))))))) my dear friend and my self attended a great lecture in the faculty of medicine where i saw the dean Dr. Mahmoud al zalabany , Dr .Ayman Nabil the professor of General surgery :) and the decent Dr. Ahmed fathy al Quoreey he is the supervisor of a great ( hadafna wahed family ) it was more like a conference where many respectable scholars of Islamic message and Dawah spoke to us about how great our religion is, how world wide it spreads , the Imam of Al quaed Ibrahim mousqe ( a very famous mosque in Alexandria ) Sheikh Abdul Rahman , Dr. mohammed Salah ( former pharmacist ) :), Dr. mahammed Ismael al Mukaddam :)) and sheikh YUSUF ESTES from the US :)))))))))))))))))))) what a wonderful person he is :) , and sheikh Ibrahim Zidan .
they all gave very interesting words , among all that i heard i remember the following :
The greatest aya (verse) in the holy Quran is :
(اللَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلا نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَأوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلا بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَأوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلا يَؤودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ) الآية 255 من سورة البقرة
(Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.) Surat Al-Baqarah (the cow) (2:255) #Quran
. this verse which is the greatest one ever among the many many verses of the holy Quran is followed by the aya (verse) talking about the freedom to choose your religion and your way of thinking { (256) لاَ إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّيْنِ قَد تَبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ }
(There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong.) Surat Al-Baqarah (the cow ) (2:256) #Quran .
what a great meaning after the best verse in the holy Quran we find the "freedom " Of choice :) !! for sure that tells us alot it rings a bell which we can all hear :) it was a blessing :) , the moment i heard that from Dr Ismaeel may Allah bless him :) , then he continued and said that the only safe shelter that the Jews had after the Andalus the great Islamic civilization in Spain all jews migrated to the rest of Islamic world rom morocco to Iraq And from Sudan to Bulgaria they wre free to go anywhere they wanted .
Then , another saying i liked very much that Sheikh Yusuf said a shocking thing in avery funny way as Usual :)))))))))) he said tolerance ????what tolerance !!!! there is no tolerance in Islam :))) we said what ?!!! then he said " yes :) Islam does not tolerate murder ,adultry, stealing , rape, Terrorism, cosuming alcohol or drugs . there is no tolerance to crimes but there is Forgiveness" :) .
After that , he said a famous saying in Texas : "tell it like it is " there is an Aya (verse) in the Qur 'an mentioning the same meaning {يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وقولوا قولاً سديداً * يصلح لكم أعمالكم ويغفر لكم ذنوبكم ومن يطع الله ورسوله فقد فاز فوزاً عظيماً}.
(O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice., He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.) Surat Al-'Aĥzāb (The Combined Forces) - (33:70) & (33:71) #Quran .
Then he said "Do not twist and bend Islam DO NOT PLAY WITH IT .
let the right Islam returnes back to Egypt let the others love Islam and respect and accept it like they did 1400 years ago by seeing the right islam in MUSLIMS."
Finally , he mentioned the hadith of the Prophet PBUH , Abu Huraira reported:
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Islam began as a stranger and it will return to being a stranger, so blessed are the strangers.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Number 270]
it is about the muslims who practise their religion whom will be considered to be strangers by others .

قال السندي في حاشية ابن ماجه
غَرِيبًا) أَيْ لِقِلَّةِ أَهْله وَأَصْل الْغَرِيب الْبَعِيد مِنْ الْوَطَن ( وَسَيَعُودُ غَرِيبًا ) بِقِلَّةِ مَنْ يَقُوم بِهِ وَيُعِين عَلَيْهِ وَإِنْ كَانَ أَهْله كَثِيرًا (فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ) الْقَائِمِينَ بِأَمْرِهِ ، و"طُوبَى" تُفَسَّر بِالْجَنَّةِ وَبِشَجَرَةٍ عَظِيمَة فِيهَا . وَفِيهِ تَنْبِيه عَلَى أَنَّ نُصْرَة الإِسْلام وَالْقِيَام بِأَمْرِهِ يَصِير مُحْتَاجًا إِلَى التَّغَرُّب عَنْ الأَوْطَان وَالصَّبْر عَلَى مَشَاقّ الْغُرْبَة كَمَا كَانَ فِي أَوَّل الأَمْر
.Then, he told us" you are those strangers" :)))))))))) we were very delighted to hear such thing :) PROUD TO BE MUSLIM :))))).
