عينيكى فى غربتى موال
  هخلق منه معنى جديد معنى فاق كل الخيال
انا زادى فى هواكى الشوق
و زوادى و أنا المعشوق
  و انتى الشمس مهما تغيب تانى تنورى الدنيا
و همشيلك بلاد الله
و هحكى لكل خلق الله
عن سيرة هوى عاشق
عن تايب الى مولاه

انتى موجه عاليه جدا ..
وبرغم انى ف السباحه مش غشيم ...

English Translation:

What difference does my name make to you?
I'm just a lover who found you, I'm Just a human being.
No matter how old I may be, even if I'm 1000 years old,
In your eyes, I see myself as a child,
And to me you are warmth and safety.
I have so much to say to your eyes
I have many things to say that no one in this world would say either to you or to anyone else
And if I ran out of words,
Your eyes are my poem in my exile
I will create new meanings and words out of them
Meanings that are very beautiful to even imagine
My livelihood in your love is my longing for you
You brighten my world when the sun sets
In order to be with you I would walk through all of God's lands (The whole Earth)
And I would tell all of God's creatures about our love story
I would tell them about a story of a lover who returned to his Lord in repentance
You..... you are a very high wave,
Even though I'm not a bad swimmer, I drowned in it willingly.
You......you are just like the Earth.
You carry me when I'm alive,
And You hold me in your arms when I'm dead
I belong to you and to you I shall return.

The Chambers of My Heart - Al Mutanabbi

My translation does not do it justice :   Tell my dear beloved who lives in the chambers of my heart, That even if I don't meet him, I still meet him And that my sight is connected to seeing him... Even if our dwellings are far away from one another I hope he realizes that I don't remember him As how can I remember him if I can't forget him in the first place?
